I’ve been emailed by a few of you wanting to know what might happen in the upcoming Army Wives Season 2. To be honest I have no clue, but EOnline got the scoop:

The ending of last season the girls were in the bar and the bomber was just about to blow up the place. We were left wondering….Will Amanda be able to talk down the bomber, or will she jump in front of it to protect her family? Remember that Trevor had just been deployed, so we’ll get to see how Roxy handles her new hubby gone off in war.

Spoilers coming up….

Army Wives: Truth and Consequences

Army Wives

Wow, I knew this would be an interesting one.

Roland admits to cheating on his wife, but the way he did it totally shocked me. Joan came home, all hot and ready to hit the sheets with Roland and she finds a hotel card in the couch. “When was the last time you were in a hotel…you cheating on me with someone Roland,” she asks jokingly. But his response was not something she was ready for, “Couple of weeks ago, with the reporter.” Akkk! I’m surprised things didn’t get thrown and I’m sorry I don’t think it would’ve been that easy to come clean. Wow! I know he will pay for this one later, especially since it was during a time she was out getting help for herself.

Claudia is really having a heck of a time with Ms.Baker, I just wish someone would punch/slap that lady across the face. Oh and then her poor daughter comes up and asks her if it is true her dad really isn’t her real father. Could ya blame Claudia for wanting to attack Lenore Baker? No way! But I was shocked to hear Col. Michael Holden actually blame Claudia for the mess, saying it was she that threw the first shot.

Frank and Denise are still going at it in the bedroom scene. Man that new hair cut and her working must’ve really worked. That or he really missed her during his last deployment. But oops, he gets that one week call during a make-out session. Denise begs him to see Jeremy before he goes, especially now that they are both military and can go over at any time. No one wants to see one of them getting hurt and never saying goodbye to each other. It was such a good thing to see Frank actually go up and talk with Jeremy. I had really thought that he would not see him before leaving and regret it later on. I’m still waiting to hear that he got Amanda pregnant. What do you think?

The big bad secret seems to be that Claudia hit someone in her car.

Pamela is just all over the place in this one. I tell ya I wouldn’t want to cross paths with her on this day. Everything is going wrong and she’s got the mouth to tell ya off. That poor guy that took her spot in the commisary. Oops. Course it is because of this that Pamela lands a job for a talk show. Yep, the same guy hired her that she went off on.

What were your thoughts on this one?

Army Wives

Oh poor Roxy, this poor girl is trying so hard to be that perfect, understandable wife, but at the same time she’s ruining Trevor’s career. This time she really stepped on toes when she confronted the one in charge of him during training. Why? Ummm, because he had blisters upon blisters on his feet. Roxy dear, that’s just part of the military….the men call it sucking it up. Boy did he get laid into after she talked with the guy, now they are calming him, “BabySoft.” OUCH!

Claudia is in more deep trouble and must choose between her girlfriend and family. This would have to be a tough one, not because of the choice but the reason behind it. The poor woman only wants to know exactly how her hubby died. Claudia is forced to kick her out and then at night her hubby says he’d be proud of her if she did what her friend is doing. Ackkk! I knew the moment he said this she’d get upset, wouldn’t you? You just kick out your friend, even though you believe in what she’s doing because your hubby says and he’s against her beliefs and now you find out he is really rooting for her.

Denise is so worried about changing too much that she’s losing out on the fun and I think that Pamela wakes her up. Next thing you see is she’s crawling on the bed to her man. Woo hoo! That’s right baby, sometimes it takes a woman to get the man to realize it’s wanted.

Roland is feeling extremely guilty and it gets worse when his little wife is so proud of him that she brings home 5 copies of the magazine the article appears in. Remember he actually cheated on her with the lady that wrote the article, so now he has this reminder looking him in the face. eeek. I wonder if he’ll end up coming clean, course I’m sure if she reads between the lines of the magazine she’ll understand quickly.

As for the previews:
Claudia’s worst enemy calls war on her and her daughter approaches her telling her, “They are saying dad’s not my dad….” Hmmm, I guess we know the secret now, at least part of it. Was she raped? Did she get into a wreck with the daddy and he died and she lived? The story seems huge so I’m really wondering. How about you?

Army Wives: Dirty Laundry Coming Up

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

Army Wives

This Sunday, August 5, Dirty Laundry. The first seasons is coming up to the last episode, but don’t worry fans, this show was renewed for a second season. No news when season two will begin but many speculate it’ll be Spring 2008.

What happens when Roxy’s world is shook when she doesn’t have sex one night. She questions her friends to see just what it means, of course this only sparks jealousy and they all learn that Denise would like a little action from her own man. They decide to help her out and do a girly session with her.

But there’s a secret that’ll ruin Claudia’s reputation on the base and of course one person wants to do just that.

Roland is full of guilt after he cheats on Joan, especially now that she’s shown up early. Will he continue on with his secret or fess up?

Two more episodes to go, will you be tuning in? What do you think will happen in season two? Any predictions?

My guesses:

Jeremy graduates boot camp, both parents are there.
Two people will find out they are pregnant on the show.
A marriage announcement.
A divorce.
An Arrest.

Army Wives: Only the Lonely

Tuesday, July 24th, 2007

Army Wives

This past Sunday was another good episode of Army Wives, but I still liked the previous episode better. But it did have a few shockers and I must state I’m happy to say it wasn’t Pamela that cheated. While I like the show I was believing they were just going to tear into us military spouses (female ones) and say we all just cheat when hubby is away. In “Only the Lonely” it was Roland that cheats and boy does he.

Roland is being interviewed for a book he wrote and he keeps talking about his wife, until the very nice and pretty reporter explains it is about him. There is a strong connection there and the fact that his wife isn’t around and her husband is serving overseas is bringing some sexual tension into the room. They are on the same wavelength and understand one another and spend the entire day together as she interviews him. Finally after all the “almost” hand touching scenes he drops her off and they talk about how they can’t do it, but then you see them in the bedroom scene. Ummm, yeah they can’t but they sure did.

As far as Claudia goes, I must say she’s in a sticky area…she knows if she doesn’t give her daughter a little bit of lee way then she’ll rebel and take off. Possibly never coming home again. I’m just waiting to hear that Amanda is pregnant, remember her and Jeremy made sure they made some lasting goodbyes that would stick in the memory forever.

Denise is distraught over her son, Jeremy, leaving for the military. She can’t talk with her husband as he’s put himself into that world that men go sometimes. She really can’t talk with her friends because none of them wouild understand and frankly the one she would’ve went to already let her know how she felt towards her boy. Imagine Claudia’s surprise after Amanda disappeared for the day to call her up from Denise’s house telling her she spent the day with her. I can see how they would though, they were both missing him and could share stories with one another. Amanda even convinces Denise to go back into nursing.

Claudia decides not to go on the family vacation and stays home with Amanda, hubby and their other daughter will go together. Probably a wise decision, especially since so far she’s really had no part.

Roxy meets a widow and quickly becomes friends, the widow’s child and her own children play together. When she shows up she finds out she is also extremely pregnant and due to move out in a day. In the military you are given 6 months to prepare your house to move out, she just couldn’t let go and finally when the military comes to make her leave her new friends help her through it.

What were your thoughts on the episode? Next week should be good, I’m wondering who it was Claudia killed. I’m thinking it was probably drunk driving and had an accident. What’s your guess?

Army Wives on Lifetime

Army Wives Cast

There are a few new shows out there on Lifetime, one of which is Army Wives. Have you caught it yet? What’s your take? The show is all about 5 families and how they get through life in the military. Yes, it has many up in arms over it but for the most part military families can definitely relate to a lot of the scenes. Let’s talk a little about the shows so far.

It’s main focus is on five spouses, four of which are female and one is a male. Yes, men are spouses these days and have to deal with their loved ones going away. Now in this show that couple does not have a child, at least not yet.

Denise and family: Denise is one of those perfect wives that all military wives wish they could be, that is until ya watch the show. Denise’s husband has been through a lot- with him getting deployed, lost, captured and brought back, but during this time so has she….her only child has been beating her while dad has been away. The son- the pride and joy- the one that was suppose to go off to Military School. But the family is torn when pops finds out and kicks him out. Mom doesn’t agree with the decision and is going nuts trying to find her son.
