X-Files 2

I know you all are probably waiting in line or already sitting down watching your favorite movie, X-Files, but I’m going to post some red carpet photos of the gang that I believe you’ll enjoy. As you can tell one is pregnant, but she wasn’t pregnant in the movie. (that I know of) But maybe they’ll make her pregnant in the third if they have one. Can you picture it?

It’s Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny and the rest of the team. Why is it David and Gillian aren’t smiling? Do they see something supernatural?

Friday, July 25th, 2008

X-Files the Movie will be in theaters today, July 25th. Will you be there? I remember as a child this was the one tv show that would scare the lights out of me. It was too real for me and I really believed in all things that went bump in the night.

TV Movies for Friday Night

Friday, July 11th, 2008

200px-Garfield_ver6

The weekend never ends there are always tons of shows to watch on a Friday night, IF you must stay home. But with the weather so beautiful something tells me many will be going outside to play. But either way here is a short list of tv movies for Friday night.

Movies:

Garfield the Movie- This 2004 action packed movie sports a cat, his master and his beloved friend, haha, Odie. Garfield, just like the cartoon, is always trying to find a way to get rid of Odie, that is until he gets into some trouble. There is a sequel of this movie but this is not the one that’ll be on tv tonight.

Dr. Doolittle 2-  Dr. Doolittle’s back and once again talking to animals, however this time his family isn’t as forgiving. Now he must help Archie the bear find a mate and save his own marriage at the same time.

Steel Magnolias- This is one of those movies that no matter how many times I’ve seen it I still have to watch it. Julia Roberts plays a woman getting married that has diabetes and is told she should never have children. Her mother gets upset when she hears she does end up pregnant and the two struggle to find a common ground. But it is a great movie about friendships and how a town draws together.

tv-graphic

That’s right 451press is back in action, which means TVbender.com is back. Boy have I missed blogging about all my favorite television shows. Thanks for all you that constantly tried to come by but after too many posts got rejected because the site wasn’t working properly I decided I’d wait until all was fixed. Oh it drove me nuts to see all new shows coming up, getting canceled, the awards and everything else.  We have a LOT of catching up to do, so gear up for some TV News, you’ll be in for a treat. Oh we’ll even catch you up on the Daytime Awards as well.

What’s on television tonight? Oh you’ve got plenty, course I’d opt to head for the outdoors and enjoy the sunshine that’s finally happening from coast to coast. But if that isn’t your cup of tea here’s what on tonight.

House- House has woke up with amnesia and there is no telling when he’ll ever get his memory back. Is that a good thing for his patients? Umm, not so sure as it always seemed to be his use of drugs was what kept him thinking outside of the box and able to help save his patients lives. Course now without being hooked on meds will he be the same House? There’s one person that might be able to help, but he’s not so sure he wants to do it. This should be a good one as it is the season finale.

days

Last week we heard Ava’s dad, Martini, that he was declaring war on the whole Brady family. It’s not like this will be a first time for the Brady’s though, I mean when aren’t they feuding or running for their lives. My question is since it is really Steve he wants revenge on for his daughter, will he go after Stephanie? We watched a heated kiss between the handsome doctor and Chelsea only moments after kicking out Nick. Uh oh, trouble in paradise? Come on we all knew it wouldn’t last.

Wednesday Night Shows

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

What’s on television tonight? Well, I’m sure we won’t have a recap of "American Idols’ Big Blunder," but there is plenty of shows to watch that’ll keep you entertained.

A new show called, "Farmer Wants a Wife" comes on tonight and it sounds somewhat interesting. It’s another reality show where you guessed it, a farmer gets to pick his wife. Only catch is he doesn’t seem to be wanting a farm girl, not when his ten hot beauties all happen to be from the city. Granted, I can see how funny this can get. I can’t wait to watch them muck the stalls or feed the pigs, or worse milk a cow. hehe. The first challenge of the night will be them trying to catch a chicken. I normally don’t watch these reality dating shows but I think I’ll watch this one tonight.

9p.m./ET on CW

American Idol Paula Abdul’s Blunder

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

070207_americanIdol_hmed_8p.h2

Last night on American Idol, Paula Abdul made one of those most confusing statements when it came time for her to tell the contestant what she thought. Today, she’s come forward to state it was an honest mistake. Apparently she’d been writing her notes on one card and got confused on which one she was reading. Oops.

Did you watch? What did you think?  Many bloggers have been reporting she thought she was drunk, others thought it was muscle relaxers. Could it have been the change in the program that did this?

CSI, Garry Dourdan Arrested for Drugs

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

It seems the Garry Dourdan, aka Warrick Brown, hasn’t learned much from playing in CSI. He was arrested on Monday for possession of narcotics in Palm Springs. Apparently he was disoriented when an officer approached him, upon searching the area they found: cocaine, Ecstacy, heroin and many other drugs. His bail was set at $5,000 and no news on the date of his hearing.

Tuesday Night Shows

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

Law & Order SVU- For the shows 200th episode they decided to treat you with a very famous comedian. Any guesses? No, it’s ROBIN WILLIAMS. That’s right, this funny man will play and engineer who doesn’t believe in authority. Lets find out what happens when he doesn’t play by the rules. Uh oh.

BONES: The second season of BONES premieres Wednesday, Aug. 30 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Pictured L-R: David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel. ©2006 Fox Broadcasting Co. Cr: Art Streiber/FOX

I hate turning on the television and not knowing what’s on, especially now that all the new seasons have started or the season that have new writers. Now we can catch up where those last shows ended. Woo hoo!

Bones:  Upon coming to the scene now the investigators have to take care of a little infant found in a carseat while they try to discover who was the killer.

CSI Miami: The group will discover a body inside a sink hole which leads them to a robbery, with many more secrets to come. Will you be watching?

Days

Last week on Days of Our Lives, Chelsea was rushed to ER where they were able to stabilize her but I’m afraid she let it be known how much she adores Dr.Hunk. If Nick didn’t catch it yet, he’s a fool. She gushed way to much about the doctor even when he wasn’t in the room.

Hope was shot but Ava’s men took her to get the wound cared for, course after Hope is saved and brought back to the compound her and Bo team up and take down the enemy and the foursome escape just as police are getting there. Phew.

But in the meantime someone is watching Stephanie as Max tells her how much he loves her and they share a very romantic evening together.

Is Hannah Montana Doomed?

Monday, April 28th, 2008

IMG: Celebutopia (not nude photos)

I’m sure by now you’ve seen or heard of the many photos of Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana lately. Am I right? If you haven’t here’s a description, Miley Cyrus showing her green bra, poses in pictures with a boy and she is wearing only underwear and a bra, but his hand rests on her underwear. Miley lifting up her shirt, kissing the boy, etc. But this weekend was the big one, Vanity Fair has announced they have a new shot of the Disney Girl and the shot makes her look like she’s only wearing a sheet and no clothes on.

In an article by People.com it states Miley was asked to take off her top after her parents left the shooting. Ummm, how wrong is this? Miley, aka Hannah Montana, is ONLY 15-years-old. Yes, many think she looks older but Annie Leibovitz would’ve known her age. Annie knew better. Everyone is claiming the pictures are artistic and they were meant to be that way. Myself, I think this borders on the line of child pornography. What’s your take on it?
