Michael Jackson RIP

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

I’m sure everyone knows that Michael Jackson passed away last week, some are still waiting Michael_Jackson to hear exactly how he died. Some say an overdose, others say murder and some say natural causes but no one will know until it is announced to the world which I’m guessing will be some time. In the meantime we all reflect on the concerts he had and of course Neverland. I won’t touch much on this subject as I know it is all over the news, but I will briefly talk about the rumors, kids and of course the funeral.

Michael Jackson was the King of Pop and definitely made history for his one gloved hand. In the end, Michael was planning a comeback that would’ve been very soon, he was even preparing for it the night before he died. Michael Jackson leaves behind three children, the ones everyone is wondering exactly who they will go to and if Michael had any thoughts on the matter. But finding this out would mean uncovering secrets that no one knew. Michael has three children, many believed (assumed) that the first two belonged to Debbie Rowe, however news reports are now stating that she was just a surrogate and they aren’t biologically Michael’s children either. The third, Michael Prince (blanket) was also from a surrogate but not the same as the other two.

Reports were being stated that Debbie Rowe was going to fight the Jackson family for custody, currently they are living with Grandma and that’s who they want to stay with. The will is finally being spoken of and it seems he did ask that the kids and his estate be left to his mother and children, no one else.

Joe Jackson, father to Michael, has held a press conference and stated that Michael will have a public funeral. Now there is no date just yet as the family is waiting for the results of a second autopsy. Rumor has it the Jackson family are planning a funeral at the Neverland Ranch, which will have tight security.

Jon & Kate Head for Divorce

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

In case you did not see the last two episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8, they had a big jon-kate-gosselin announcement recently and those that got to see it heard they were getting a divorce.  In the latest preview it shows Kate with her kids walking around a ship, later Kate has a tea party with the girls as well as making necklaces. There’s no sighting of Jon but both make comments in regarding the whole thing.

In the last episode with both of them in it, they explain to the viewers that they are headed for a divorce. In fact Kate had just (a few hours before) filed for the divorce, however her records were sealed so there’s no information leaking on either part. Both did have comments to the media the day after, however they are now no longer commenting to the media.

Canceled Shows

Monday, June 1st, 2009

With the economy as tough as it has been it is no wonder we have tons of shows canceling, but then again normally there are half the number that cancel after one withoutatrace season. Everybody Hates Chris
The Game
In the Motherhood
Life
My name is Earl
Priveldged
Reaper
Samantha Who?
Sit Down, Shut Up
Terminator: The Sarah
Connor Chronicles
The Unit

Without a Trace

What shows are you sorry to see leaving? Which ones are you shocked they are staying?

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here

Monday, June 1st, 2009

I’m a Celebrity…Get me Out of here premiere’s tonight, so far this is one of those crazy survivor type shows but for celebrities. It, from my understanding is going to have a group of celebrities tossed on an island where they must fend for themselves. By the im-a-celeb way this wasn’t the first time this show has been done before, a few years back they tried but it didn’t work out. My guess is too many celebrities wanted special treatment. Guess it shouldn’t come as a shock that one celebrity couple are already complaining.

Here’s a list of cast members that will be on the show: (there’s another that I can’t remember)

Lou Diamond Phillips
Janyce Dickinson
Patti Blagojevich
Sanjaya Malakar
Torrie Wilson
John Salley
Stephen Baldwin
Heidi Montag
Spencer Pratt

The celebrity couple that are complaining? Oh Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt of course. They thought the other celebrities were all “C-list” and that they were A. By the way they’ve tried quitting two times already, something tells me they won’t make it to the very end.

Celebrity Apprentice gets Another Season

Friday, May 1st, 2009

NUP_130198_0005 It’s no surprise really that Donald Trump’s reality show, “Celebrity Apprentice” just got renewed for another season. I mean doesn’t everything Donald Trump touches turn to gold? For those that don’t know, Celebrity Apprentice is in its 9th running but it hasn’t always been celebrity based. That’s right the first 6 seasons were all regular joes. In this last season we all got to hear Joan Rivers tell everyone off when her daughter, Melissa was tanked. OUCH! We even got to hear her say some pretty bad words. Course I think that’s just some bug going around Hollywood. The potty mouth bug.

Did you have any favorite parts from this season’s “Celebrity Apprentice?”

Daniel is Dead on Lost

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

Daniel Faraday has definitely left Lost, this past Wednesday he was gunned down by his own mother on the show. Apparently this was his 1977 mom, not his 2007 lostmom. Confused yet? Don’t be if you recall this show brought in the past and future selves. His 2007 mom had encouraged him to go to this island, but it was his past mom that shot at him.

Hmm, something wrong with the picture? He had planned on making a hydrogen bomb for the island so maybe this was a good thing after all. What do you think? Course if he had saved the island there’d be no show, I guess they had to kill him.

Will you miss Daniel?

Don Rickles Awarded with Legend Award

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

The 2009 TV Land Award that is only given out once a year has been passed on to Don Rickles for being an “outrageous comic.” The award show was hosted by Neil Patrick Harris from How I met Your Mother and it will go live on April 26th, the donricklestaping of the show will be April 19th.

Don Rickles is in great company, shows such as Married with Children, M*A*S*H, Home Improvement, Knots Landing and many others.

“I feel honored that TV Land has finally woken up and decided to make me this year’s recipient of the Legend Award,” says Don Rickles. “Throughout my career, I have loved entertaining people and to be recognized for my achievements is truly extraordinary.”

“Don Rickles is a national treasure whose comedy transcends generations,” states Jones. “He is a true pioneer who has won the hearts of millions across the world with his quick wit and sarcasm. TV Land is thrilled to present him with this year’s Legend Award.”

Curious on who Don is? Don is the voice of Mr.Potato Head from Toy Story 1 and 2.  His first appearances, before Toy Story was in comedy clubs and of course “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” in the 60s. Since then he was seen in The Dean Martin Show, appeared in The Beverly Hillbillies, Dick Van Dyke Show, Murphy Brown and many others.

-  Carson Daly
-  David Letterman
-  Jimmy Fallon
-  Jimmy Kimmel

NCIS:  8/7C on CBS CIA agent, Trent Kort will come into some nice cash when Gibbs pays him back.  But there is more to it then that.

The Mentalist: Yes, the Sexiest Man from TVGuide. This is on tonight at 9/8c on CBS and deals with a hypnotists. Should be interesting.

Real Housewives of New York City 1-/9C Bravo: Yes, the one Housewives that have one getting a divorce. Tonight you’ll see as Jill fights with Ramona’s husband. Ooops we all know how some of these can get. How many of you have hated the way your friend’s husband or wife treated them or did something? In other New York City Wives news Luann’s maid must clean up after even more pets, Kelly gets in trouble for her mouth. Big surprise there.

Without a Trace is on at 10/9C on CBS find out just who is missing and watch a steamy scene between Martin and Kim. I love this show.

A few other shows tonight are the Season Premieres of My Boys at 10:30/9:30 C and Pretty Wicked at 10/9C.

Real Housewives Turns to Divorce Court

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

It seems that our Countess Luann de Lesseps from The Real Housewives of New York City is leaving her husband. I’m not meaning she cheating on him either, but really leaving with papers and all. I guess you can say reality tv really can break up a51523538451press331200922820PM_housewivesNY marriage. Hopefully that is not what really happened.

According to the Star, she heard through the grapevine that her hubby, The Count, had been cheating on her. She decided to check and called but he never answered her when she phoned him. Eeek, that’s never a good sign. That or he was pissed she’d believe the rumors and call him on it on national TV. He did later email her and tell her he was with someone else. Poor girl.

He finally sent her an e-mail saying he was with an Ethiopian woman in Geneva and he was serious with her.”

I guess it didn’t matter that the couple have two children and that he was married. Hope this other woman feels good about herself.

The friend added, “Luann was blindsided. She was just devastated. They have basically lived apart for many years — he lives in Europe and comes and goes as he pleases, but she never thought this would happen.”

A rep for Luann said, “It is obviously a very difficult time for the Countess and Count, but they plan to remain friends and their primary focus will be to do what is best for their two children.”

Okay, so I can see how it might happen when they have lived apart for so long. Ya know the whole “cats away the mice will play” type of thing.  But now she can start over and give her and those kids the life they deserve.

Disney to Make Shorter Videos for YouTube

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

Disney has its own channel on Youtube and for those loyal watchers it can become a very long day watching all their favorite episodes online. But Disney is now miley_cyrus240 wanting to make shorter videos for their tv unit on YoutTube. This could be good news for viewers and parents of the younger generation.

Until this year I didn’t even know children would go to the library just to watch tv shows online. It happens though, while I was blogging for money at our local library because my computer was broke a kid next to me was logging in to watch Hannah Montana. I couldn’t help but laugh but understand now, either she has no tv at home or just wants to keep updated with all the shows.I know some parents have their children go to the library after school and wait there until they can be picked up, the internet would be a great source for limited TV watching. I love it!

Do you like the idea of shorter videos?

Tuesday Night Watch

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

What do you plan on watching on your TV tonight? For some of you it is VOTE night at American Idol. But if you plan on calling in your vote, due be careful to call the correct number. Apparently one of the numbers, for the 13th contestant can get you to a phone sex company. Who will the next Top 12, err 11 be? I hear Adam will be the winner in the end, but that’s just a rumor. By the way this is on at 8/7C on Fox. By the way this will be a two hour special so start popping that popcorn.

The Real Housewives of New York City will be on at 10 pm on Bravo and I hear this is going to be a good one. Rumor has it Kelly will beat up her boyfriend. Should be interesting right?

The View at Disney Legends Plaza

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

the_view

The View will be doing its show at Walt Disney Studios down at Disney Legends for the upcoming week March 9-13. We’ll get to see Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Barbara Walters, Joy Behar and of course Sherri Sherpherd and they’ll be just like any other day just at a fun and exciting studio.

Big Lots is actually sponsoring them while they are there so this should really give them some exposure. But something tells me we’ll be watching more for the stars and not the ads.

The stars for this week will be:

Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana)
Jay Leno (The Tonight Show)
Jimmy Kimmel (Jimmy Kimmel Live)
Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt (The Hills)
Sally Field & Calista Flockhart (Brothers & Sisters)

Each day you’ll hear tips from the celebrity designer, Jennifer Farrell on how to decorate affordably. Yes, you won’t have to break the bank. Which celebrity are you most anxious to watch?  My kids would say Miley but I’m thinking the two for Brothers & Sisters.
