There has been no official word on this, however Days of Our Lives writer, Tom Cassiello, has written a goodbye letter to Days of Our Lives fans. He found out just recently he was one of the ones being fired. It appears that due to the strike many writers were fired and he happened to be one of the latest. More news as I find out.
It’s time for all of Salem to head over to Salem and this time Steve and Kayla are brining Shawn Sr, who’ll get to meet his long lost sister. Ya know the one he thought was dead all these years. Poor guy, he’ll probably have a stroke. Course they have bad news for Bo, somehow they found out he (Bo) is very ill. You’ll catch on as Bo continues to complain about his back hurting. Hmmm, anyone know if he’s leaving the show? Kayla will also find out she is pregnant. Woo hoo!
If ya’ll watched this past Friday’s episode you’ll know John’s mission is to kill Colleen. He tried at least twice but Marlena got between him and her every time. Well on Monday John decides to do it no matter what and no one will stop him, this includes Marlena. He ends up smashing her head into the wall and still goes at Colleen. I wonder when he’ll find out she is his mom. (just a thought) But just before he is about to kill Colleen she asks for one last word….(wonder what it is?) hahahaha, I think I know.
Did you know that Kristian Alfonso interview is a mother to three boys and still has time to be mother to two on Days of Our Lives as Hope Brady? Man and she looks just picture perfect to top it all off. Anyways head on over to Ivilliage for her interview.
Kristian’s boys are 17, 14 and 4 and she is happy she doesn’t have a boy like her character’s son, Shawn, who’s always running around town and never letting his family know where he is. Or worse crashing his motorcycle through a church window, taking off and running from the police. I’m glad to hear she doesn’t have to do with it, her only fear is having her son come home late after 9 p.m.
She’s not just a mom and an actress, she has also designed her own clothes line and a jewelry line.
“Of course I was born on Labor Day, which I guess fits into my life since I’m always running somewhere. Being a mom and a wife is always first position. My family always comes first.”
As you can see just by that statement, Kristian is just like her character, Hope, both would do anything for their families. Even Hope on Days will go through a fire to stop someone from harming her family, she’ll go through a jungle or get trapped in a castle. Oh and if you are anything like me and LOVE her jewelry she wears on the show you can actually purchase them. Her designer jewelry line is called, “Faith Hope Miracles”.
Okay last week on Days of Our Lives was a bit exciting, especially watching as Shawn beat the crud out of Rob. Come on, the guy has his kid, let him beat him to a bloody pulp for taking his kid. Chloe of course is there to tell the cops what happened and Shawn isn’t arrested. Phew! However on the other side of town life isn’t all roses, Stephanie tells pops (Steve) that she was in fact raped. Course then Ford’s father comes in upset about his kid missing and she flat out tells him she has no sorrow for the kid. I think this was a dead giveaway that something was up. On the other side of the pub is Chelsea and Nick and he tells her to watch Ford’s dad and see the pain he is in. You can tell she’s torn but she just found out about her best friend.
This week on Days, Shawn finds out that his daughter is in Ireland and heads out there. Of course, come on where else would she be, I mean we’ve all been following the storyline about Colleen. I wondered when this would happen. Hope tells Bo and Abe that she wants to be back on the force, hmmm, that was a giveme I think, especially since she only has one child at home and a granddaughter no one can find.
Last week on Days of Our Lives we learned that…EJ told everyone that his dad, Stefano, actually had John in the Dimera Mansion and siged a paper so that Bo and Roman could go in search for him. But would it be too late? Has Stefano already erased all of John’s memories? Another thing I’m wondering is if the new lady in search for something isn’t really John’s real mother and maybe that is why Stephano saved John’s life. He always said he felt like a son, maybe it was more of a nephew or his own. Bo and Roman arrest Stefano and Rolf and put them in prison, where they’ll be sharing with Lucas. Oh boy, this should get really interesting. Stefano manages to get his hands on a cell phone and calls EJ to inform him all has been forgiven and a car is coming to pick him up. EJ gets a bad vibe and takes off to Sami to tell her they need to run with the twins. Will she do it? I’ve never known Sami not to protect her child, I think she will if she feels threatened.
Belle is furious when she learns that Phillip has been helping Chloe out. Could this end the ties that bind this couple? I doubt it. Later during the week Belle is with Claire when she gets knocked out and a strange lady takes Claire. Now the hunt for little Claire is on and Shawn and Chloe go out together to find her since Belle is held up in the hospital. Uh oh, sounds like trouble to me. Course now Phillip must tell her that Claire is gone. Marlena brings John by to visit Belle in the hospital and he quietly sneaks a pair of scissors on his way out. Hmmm, we know he’ll be escaping soon.
Nick finally tells Chelsea to be the better person and if not he’ll leave her. This time it’s because she tells him about Ford and makes him promise not to say anything. But when her mom comes around he’s quiet but later tells her they better tell soon or he’s gone. We all know she loves him but she also loves her knew found sisterhood. Who will she choose? Chelsea tells Stephanie that they must come clean or Nick will leave her and later when Ford’s dad shows up she (Steph) blurts out that Ford raped her. This shocks Chelsea but something tells me it doesn’t shock her too much but she does console her.
This week on Days we will see….Lucas finds out Sami is in hiding with EJ and the twins, this will not make him happy in the least. If anything, he may try attacking Stefano now, knowing that is the only thing that will ever make Sami feel protected. Bo and Hope discover the missing van and find a prescription bottle with Claire’s name on it, they know that at least she’s being taken care of. Later in the week Chloe and Shawn will find Rob, the kidnapper, and demand Claire back. I’m guessing she won’t be anywhere near by. Marlena, in an event to save John, goes to prison and gives Stefano a truth serum to find out what John’s mission is.
Yes, Carrie from Days of Our Lives is actually pregnant. No, not on the show, but I’m sure they could even write that in somehow if they really wanted to. But the actual actress, Christie Clark, is actually expecting her first child with husband Thomas Barnes. The little Angel is going to be a girl and they are naming her Hannah.

It was a bit crazy last week with Days but I only got to catch a few shows due to a move. So who here enjoyed it and what did you hate about it? We got to watch a lot of the old members from Salem High come back into play and see how they’ve grown up. I’m glad to see Chloe back though, sorry that she isn’t with Brady anymore. Hmm, maybe it was Brady that shot at EJ. What do you think? He’d have reason and motive, not to mention he’d have a chip on his shoulder for more than one reason.
As far as couples go I see them pairing Chloe and Phillip together. This would take the whole triangle away for a bit. I mean sure you’ll have the whole Belle getting jealous bit but I think that’ll add to it.
This week on Days of Our Lives we’ll watch EJ get up and walk. Yeah, as if we didn’t all know that was going to happen. I honestly think he could’ve done it a lot sooner but he was milking it for what he could. Who agrees with me on that?
Last week on Days of Our Lives showed a teaser with Stephanie taking a pregnancy test and leaving it to her mom walking in. We found out later in the week that she was NOT pregnant. Phew. The best part I thought…besides the wedding was when Chelsea got to pop Ford. haha.
The gun that everyone found on Steve was actually Roman’s, so does this mean Roman shot at EJ? Or worse could he have shot at EJ and hit Sami’s dress instead? Oh that would be too much guilt for that old man.
As far as the wedding went, Hope finds out right before the wedding that Belle lied to her and Mimi didn’t call like she said…it was Phillip. She decides at the last minute to keep quiet about it instead of going to her boy like she had planned. I think she knows it would destroy Shawn if she told him, however it may have been the best thing for the couple. Marlena gives Belle the purity rings as well, which makes for an awkward moment for Belle.
Course I think everyone was surprised when Sami kissed EJ to make him live. But that may have only caused more trouble, including for her and Lucas. It’s no wonder he’ll decide this week to go after custody of their little girl. I mean we all know how Sami feels towards her children, now if she has both living with her and EJ there will be no reason for her to leave him. But if Lucas has their little girl there will be reason. What will she do? Many of the family got upset with him over this but when they stop to think about it they will understand he is only trying to protect his little girl. To top matters off Marlena runs to Stefano to bribe him and we all know that he as always wanted her. Will she trade her life in for her daughter’s?
This week on Days of Our Lives….Lucas lets Sami know that he wants their little girl. Then he names her behind Sami’s back, but the name is something they can al be proud of…. Alice Caroline, after each of their Grandmothers. This is just perfect for the new Brady Baby, they’re calling her Ali for short.
Belle and Shawn will actually get married without any problems. This is a first for any wedding on Days. Hope informs Marlena that Belle slept with Phillip before getting married to Shawn. Okay, so when are we going to hear she’s pregnant.
EJ wants Stefano to finally meet his son, of course Sami doesn’t agree with this. No way is she going to have Little Johnny meet this demon. What will she do to prevent this?
Chloe returns to the show once again, no one knows for sure why. My guess is to get with Phillip, since she does run into Belle and asks all about him. I wonder if this will bring the green out in Belle, ya know she can’t stand anyne to like one of the men she does.
Steve has become even more interested in having kids. This week he and Bo get to show off a bit of their fatherly love for their daughters when they threaten Ford. Wait until they hear what Ford has done to one of them.
Rumor: Chloe and Brandon are actually dating in real life.
This past week on Days of Our Lives, it wasn’t all that bright and shiny for our favorites soap stars, first off lets start with the college students. Morgan decides to testify against Ford because Cordy can’t bring herself to go through with all of it but it only makes matters worse. In fact, it’s basically erased after the meeting with the Dean. Don’t forget the Dean and Ford’s dad are close and his dad was representing him. He got to walk away some how being the victim instead of the rapist. Stephanie is acting really funny so my guess is he raped her too.
Lucas is on the hunt for his mom after he finds out that during the shooting at the wedding to Sami and EJ, Sami’s dress gets hit with a bullet. Did his mom really try to take her out? Not sure, but we do know that she gave Phillip the shot gun after the wedding and he tossed it in the river. Hmm, maybe he thinks she shot EJ and maybe she thinks Lucas did it.
Sami feels guilty this week and ends up going to see EJ when Kate calls her and tells her he is on his death bed. Strange. Course Sami is visited by ghost, Colleen, who lays it on thick too.
Who really pulled the trigger? My guess is on Stephano, which would make it understandable why he seems to feel so guilty right now.
Up this week:
The Wedding of the century, okay not really it is only Shawn and Belle getting married and I think something will happen before they can say I Do. Who knows maybe Belle will pass out and we’ll all discover she’s pregnant. Course the father will be Phillip, but maybe she’ll believe it to be Shawn’s.
Shawn, Bo and the rest of the Salem PD will get to announce who shot EJ. Hmm, will they pin this one on Steve? I’m guessing yes, but I think they have the wrong guy. I still want to know who shot at Sami.
Stephanie is caught by her mom, Kayla, while she is taking a pregnancy test. Uh oh. What will she tell her?
This week on Days of Our Lives, Shawn learns there is no hope for him at the Salem Police Academy, so this can only mean one thing….Phillip ya better stay out of his sight. Course while he is learning this Belle and Phillip are once again together, only this time Phillip wants her to admit she loves him. Will she? Shawn tells Belle to decide on a date once and for all. Can she do it?
Hope goes to Kayla for advice on the whole Shawn, Belle, Phillip thing and later tells Bo. Uh oh!
Last week was a very busy week for Days of Our Lives fans, with the recent death of our beloved John Black and everyone still being very raw with emotions. Suddenly Sami goes into labor and it is a race to see who will get to her first, EJ or Lucas. Lucas of course wins and EJ and Kate show up together after the babies are born.
John Roman Roberts is the name picked for the boy twin, I’m not sure about the girl one yet. Something is telling me it’ll be Colleen. What do you think?
Phillip gave Belle a ride back home, unfortuneatly in more ways than one. Just think while Shawn is downstairs talking with mom his wife is right above him, in their own room, messing up the sheets with Phillip. Hope knows though and lets Belle know that she knows and isn’t okay with it.
Wow, what was everyone’s take on last week’s show? Such a very sad funeral, but there were a few moments I liked in it. For starters when Lucas gets to punch EJ for even showing up. Next up, Sami’s promise to a dead John that his death will not go unnoticed. Come one we all know she’ll do something. I am really starting to think she’ll go through with a wedding to a Dimera, but not to protect her family anymore….now it is for revenge. I see her getting in there and killing them all off somehow or at the very least finding out all their secrets.
This week on Days of Our Lives, it’s going to be not only a tear jerker but a lot of huge moments for Days of Our Lives fans. First up it looks like Marlena and Belle are still trying to keep John with them. John is rushed to the hospital this week and it is a tearful one for John and Marlena fans as we all say good bye to John. Yes, this week John will pass away at the hospital and have a Hero’s funeral.
Many of you Passions fans out there may still be a little sad as the passing of Passions. Well, okay they didn’t end the show, but they moved it to DirecTV and many of us can’t watch now. Wondering about any favorite actors/actresses out there?
Well here’s the scoop on our lovely and pregnant Jessica.
First, NBC has decided to try their hand at making an ONLINE soap opera. Yes, online, not sure how that works, I guess we download the videos. Anyone know? The new soap opera is called, Coastal Dreams and Jessica has moved over there. Granted her name isn’t Jessica on this show, it is Zoe and she died her hair for the part. Honestly I think I like her with the blonde hair. Oh and I just learned Danica’s (Jessica) real hair color is blonde. What do you think? Voice your opinions below.
Sheridan is also here, well the stand-in for Sheridan (you remember the whole, Sheridan is played by…) and her name on the show is April. Seeing a pattern here? I wonder if all those that were killed off or forgotten about will appear on this new soap. I think I’d be watching that if it is the case.
Okay, the basic story line so far, as I really haven’t started watching it YET: Zoe is your girl-next-door type and of course has a stalker boyfriend, so she quickly scoops up everything and moves in with her cousin, April, down in California. Man, she even has a bad boyfriend in this show, poor Danica. Now Zoe must make a life for herself and keep out of sight from her boyfriend, course she’s a jewelry designer to top it off and I’m sure somehow he’ll be able to find her through that.

Days of Our Lives has a lot going on this week. First up, Lauren will fall down a flight of stairs because Phillip is hot on her tail. However, instead of keeping quiet she knows she’ll die and ends up telling him his son is actually in the hospital. Belle realizes that the kid in question is actually Pocket.
Pocket, as you may recall is the little baby boy that Steve and Kayla have been taking care of. Only problem is he keeps ending up in the hospital and this time they can’t get him back. To make matters worse Phillip figures out this might be his son and brings social services in. Adding more fuel to the fire, it is the same social worker that Steve has already dealt with and it isn’t looking good for Pocket.
Sammy must make a tough decision this week, choose to marry EJ and divorce Lucas or stay with Lucas and danger her family. Just when you think she’s made up her mind and says Good bye to Lucas, EJ opens his mouth and says that Will could be in danger. Never mess with Sami buddy, now you’ve done wrong. Sami rips up his papers and says see ya. I really hope Lucas gets to slug him for this, a nice black eye would go good with him don’t ya think?
Instead EJ plans on hurting someone else, only it doesn’t happen and gets someone else instead. For all you John and Marlena fans, this is the one you WON’T want to see as John will get hit by a car.
