CTU The Rookie–The Actor
I’ve searched far and wide and have finally come up with the name of the person that plays Jack Bauer Jr. (not really that’s just my name for him) on the new internet show CTU The Rookie (I think it’s an internet show, I hope to everything that it isn’t an actual TV show because it won’t last 2 episodes).
The actor’s name is Jeremy Ray Valdez.
As I said before I’ll keep everyone up to date on the latest happenings of CTU The Rookie . I’m going to watch it so you don’t have to

He looks really familiar!

Aaron I see that you took my previous post off your website. Do you know why everybody? Because he is a moron. Aaron why dont you explain to everyone here how you evaluate tv shows? Its by watching trailers huh? What kind of education are you getting atUSU? If you would have left my previous post up people wuld pay no attention to you! Just to let everyone know The Rookie is a pilot airing on the internet. It is a spinoff of the series 24. It’s supposed to be bad ass so check it out. If Aaron is such a 24 fan and a supposed TV critic how can he make comments like that without even watching the show?

Agreed! Aaron how do you evaluate TV shows? Its like saying predicting the future. You just cant do that.

Fly fisher has a good point. I saw his comments earlier and they must have been taken off. Check out the rookie

fly fisher,
Thanks for commenting. No, I had nothing to do with the removal of your comment, but I did want to respond, and I don’t think we need to be uncivil about it.
Everyone judges a show by the previews, that’s why we have previews. Previews are made in hopes that people will want to see the show, or in other words judge them on good standards. The Rookie looks like a lame spin-off in my opinion and that’s why I wrote what I did.
I haven’t completely judged the show, as I said I’m going to review it once it airs.
If you’ve ever read a TV related site they ALWAYS make predictions based on their opinions.
The reason why I judged the show the way I did, was that they explained yes he’s done two tours in the Navy Seals sniper team, yet he’s carrying CTU personnel coffee? Doesn’t really make sense.
Also, spin-offs of original shows usually never succeed, rather it’s just the network trying to milk as much money out of the 24 fan base as they can. Look at Joey, how good did that do after Friends? TV critic after TV critic panned it before it ever aired.
I’m glad for your comments and really have no idea how or why it was deleted, it could’ve been marked as spam. Either way I like your comments, and like the opposing opinions. I’d rather have civil discussions about it, but thanks for your comments.
Aaron.

Aaron you are a butt jouster! Dont quit your day job! Truth hurts dude, you have got to be the worst critic in the world.
January 14th, 2007 at 12:27 pm
Well, I guess you don’t want to have a civil conversation about this.
OH JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS, FLY FISHER, MALVO, AND TIGER ARE ALL THE SAME KID.
Yeah fly fisher, you should probably use a different IP address and email when leaving comments that look like they are other people agreeing with your views.
Aaron.

Isn’t that Petty Officer Rooney from season 5?
January 15th, 2007 at 10:59 am
Yep, he played Petty Officer Rooney. But, the character in The Rookie is not Rooney.
January 15th, 2007 at 6:38 pm
Yes, it is Petty Officer Rooney from 24, the same one on the pilot for The Rookie.
Aaron should quiet his comments until the show comes out. If he still doesn’t like it, then fine, but judging a pilot on the previews is pointless. I have seen previews that looked good, when the movie or TV show was terrible. I have also seen previews that didn’t look good at all, and the show was great.
I have nothing to do with fly fisher, malvo and tiger, but I do agree with them. Aaron is being ridiculous. He sounds like a TV snob.

Aaron,
My comments are just about as ridiculous as your TV analysis. GET THE POINT! Oh by the way a bunch of other spinoffs work in the TV industry Frasier, Melrose Place, all of the Star Trek spinoffs, Laverne and Shirley, get a clue. You name all of the ones that dont make it but not the ones that do. Like I said earlier you cannot judge something from a trailer. AND NO CRITICS DONT JUDGE FROM TRAILERS THEY MAKE JUDGEMENTS AFTER THE HAVE SEEN THE FINAL PRODUCT! I have never seen Siskel and Ebert make a judgement from trailers, if they have let me know when they did. Well you are young, so seriously you need to get some experience before you become a critic, because right now you will be homeless soon if you dont make a career change!

[...] This subject struck up quite the controversy between me and a reader who referred to himself as fly fisher. Fly fisher was angry that I judged CTU the Rookie by the trailers, and said: I think it’s an internet show, I hope to everything that it isn’t an actual TV show because it won’t last 2 episodes [...]

I have to say that this non-issue has started quite the debate. honestly, the whole thing turned out to be a comercial! But hey i’ll through in my opinion! I have to back up Aaron on this one. I have been reading Aaron’s reviews longer than just about anyone else out there! And i say yes you can review a Preview. people do it every time they go to the movies… they lean over to their friend and say “that looks good”, or “that looks so stupid”. either way it’s being a type of critic. That’s what previews are made for… to “preview” the movie. however i do think you have to hold final judgment till you see the movie, TV show, or whatever it may be. and this is what Aaron does… he gives a judgment based on the preview, and then one based on the actual show. So those of you that say it’s incorrect to judge a movie or show based on previews, think… Why are they showing them in the first place? It’s so that people can find out a little about the TV show/movie, and then judge if they would want to see it. ps. fly fisher if you’re point is valid enough, you don’t need to make up other people to agree with you, real people will do it on their own. and i for one don’t agree with you.

Aaron,
Im sorry aaron you couldnt predict a good show if it bit you in the ass. Im not sure if its that you actually wish you were somebody out here in Hollywood or that your opinion actually matters, but to each there own. I, along with the rest of this web site, think this is great entertainment! Mabey you should loosen up, atleased until your a legitimate entertainment critic thats opinion has a bit of legitimacy. - Good day
