Drew Carey To Replace Bob Barker
CBS has announced that Drew Carey will now be the new host of The Price is Right.”
Carey was quoted stating,
“I couldn’t be more excited. I realize what a big responsibility this is. It’s the longest-running game show in American television and I plan to keep it that way.”
Carey has already filmed the first “new” episode this past Monday, I know I’ll be tuning in when it airs. My guess is while Carey is extremely excited about taking on this role he must be very anxious as well. Bob Barker made this show a hit and kept it going strong for 35 years.
To all those Bob Barker fans, don’t worry he was all for Carey taking over. He even gave Drew some advice:
“Go out there and do that show the way you think it should be done. Don’t imitate me and don’t imitate anyone else.”
