Kid Nation: Root of All Evil

by

Well as we adults know, that’s money and Kidnation is having a hard time adjusting to life with a mere nickel or a couple of nickels. Some young pioneers have learned how to make those simple few nickels become dimes or more, while others have run out.

Course the children had a lot of fun when they went on a treasure hunt and fournd a chest full of nickels, 300 nickels. It was the council that actually found this loot, but they shared it with the entire town.

Divad decided she wanted more money and built her own business called, “The Snack Shack.” I think this is a girl that will become a successful businesswoman. Even though everyone was mad at her for what she was doing, they still bought from her. One thing she did that many do when they start making money otherwise is quit her day job, I hope she learned quickly that’s something you should never do unless you know you can rely on the income always being there. Jared was angry though during this entire show and decided since she was getting the food for free and charging for it he would ruin it for her. He turned the table upside down and the food came crashing over. Shame on you Jared.

The race for the Gold Star was between Divad, the promising entrepreneur; Nathan, a homeschooler; or Pharoah, who everyone knew was only doing right to get the star. The winner of course was Nathan, he had even been making treats for everyone in town. What a sweetie.

Tonight on Kidnation the children will begin with boredom. What does any child do when they are bored? Besides fighting they must get creative and that’s just what this little town needs. I think after last week we saw a bit on how these kids get creative, don’t you? You will get to see the kids put on a musical, but I’m not entirely sure it was meant for Broadway. What have you thought of the shows lately? Psst, one child will even leave Kidnation, find out why.
