KidNation Catch Up

Kidnation Judges Table

Okay, we are going to try to play KidNation catch up from where I left off. As ya’ll may remember the first episode was nothing more than fighting and crying. The second one was just plain controversial with the whole chopping off a chicken’s head. I knew the moment they did that it would be huge on the internet. Sure enough, by the next day the bloggers were all discussing it. Wondering if the pet companies got wind of it or the vegetarians. Either way this was one issue you better hoped your young kids weren’t in the room for.

The kids were left (as usual) to find for themselves and instead of eating noodles again, some suggested killing the chickens. One girl in particular was not okay with this idea. At one point she even tried locking herself in with the birds, but it didn’t last long.

Who chopped off the chicken’s head? Greg (teen boy) was the only one that had the guts, let alone the experience. Even though he was not with the cooking team he volunteered to help with it all. Help he did too, he took charge of this one. Taking the bird, placing it on the blocker and chopping off the head. Next up, the water and then plucking it. After all this you’d think he would get the Gold Star but nope, someone else got it.

Why? Hmmm, because the little boy, Mike, has it in for this teen because of their first day. You remember the day Greg tried helping him and offering a bit more plan then the little one had. If this little guy has his way Greg will never get it, no matter how hard he tries.

The winner of the Gold Star was Michael, which he did do a good job, but I thought Greg deserved it. Michael figured out how to unfreeze their water pipes. Now it is freezing over there and they had a WATER game? Come on people, just because this is KIDNATION, doesn’t mean you don’t use brains. These kids are bound to get sick.

Okay that was the first one, second one I didn’t stay up through. Sorry dear readers. I was told there was a bar scene where the kids pretended to be drinking. I did hear Mallory got the gold star, not sure why but I read it was her birthday. Man, I hope they didn’t go by that.

Will you be watching tonight? It’s suppose to be a good one dealing with religion and politics.

You know, even after watching this weeks “religion” show - I was amazed these kids have not decided to “re-visit” the town council leaders!

I mean, as soon as I saw next weeks preview (with the election) I just knew this was THE one we (in my house) were waiting for!

I can not wait for it!!!!

Here is my post about my thoughts of ONE particular leader….
