KidNation: Religion vs. Politics?

by Eliza Ferree

Kidnation Taylor

This week on Kidnation, I was actually shocked to see that when it came down to picking a prize in the latest contest the council went with bible stories instead of the miniature golfing. I’m waiting for the uproar on this one.

Throughout the show you watch as everyone strives to help the community, everyone except one person. That’s right, once again Taylor is doing nothing more than be a spoiled princess and as far as I know this isn’t a beauty pageant. While she may be a young one but I’ve seen others younger than she is working harder…heck, just working period. I loved it when the little boy was able to grab up everyone and have them help with washing the dishes, of course this shouldn’t have been his responsiblility. Course I would’ve loved to see someone dump her in the dirty water.

Once again it is time to pick the Gold Star winner and even though Greg has done a lot and it is divided Mike does NOT want him to get it. I say kick Mike and Taylor both off the council and put two others that like to work, want this to work out and aren’t bias. Maybe then Greg would get his Gold Star. While the winner was much deserving, Morgan, I do still think Greg should’ve got it.

Over at TVSquad they ask a question that I’ve been pondering myself: Why all the cold sores, chapped lips, etc?

I did see that the previews showed an election coming to town, maybe they’ll get some new council after all. Hey, don’t let those tears fool ya, this girl knows how to work a room.

A child’s point of view:
I hated that it was all about religion, I thought they could really do something else. I think it should’ve been more about picking new leaders because Taylor isn’t doing anything that a leader should do. All she ever does is lay around and when others tell her to help she rolls her eyes or laughs.
