KyleXY

by Eliza Ferree

Amanda has showed back up in town and since she’s been banned from seeing Kyle she has decided to run away and stay inside his bedroom, with the bathtub. He comes back to his room and tells her that he thinks she should go face her mom. She goes to sneak out his bedroom window but instead Kyle’s dad blocks the bath by stating that he is grounded and to leave the window shut. When they go to head to another window he’s blocked by him once again.

Amanda is spotted by Kyle’s sister and she tries helping her hide as well. Suddenly CPS shows up at the front door and it is all about Kyle. Carol Blue has complained about Kyle and CPS must look around the house and ask questions about Kyle. While they are talking Amanda is hidden in a closet and overhears them talking. Kyle’s mom is telling him, “Be careful, this woman can’t find out who you really are.” You can see Amanda is curious. This can only mean trouble for him.

The CPS lady wants to see the documents stating that Kyle is under their care. She is not happy that Kyle was found, taken put in care and then went straight home to her house and she was the one caring for him.

While the parents are being grilled by CPS, Kyle is getting grilled by his siblings. Kyle explains how Amanda got back into town and their house. He explains and tells them that Amanda went home that morning, they tell him they hope she did as she can’t be found there because otherwise he is hiding a fugitive and it looks bad for the family.

His parents catch him as he is headed downstairs and he has just discovered that Amanda is still there. He quickly deals with his parents who are explaining he needs to figure out a reason for his bed being a bathtub and take the drawings off his wall. When he opens his bedroom door Amanda is still there and worse his other girlfriend is just opening his window to climb in. They three are staring at each other asking why the other is in the room. Oh uh someone’s got some explaining to do. The other girl (can’t recall the name) gives Kyle a record to listen to and he gets her to leave.

The CPS lady decides since she’s interviewed everyone else it is now time to interview Kyle. Amanda is still in his room and now locked in the room. Kyle is chatting with the lady and decides to give Amanda a sign and let things flash on and off without the lady knowing. Finally Amanda is just about to leave the house, she opens the door and runs right into her mom. This draws everyone’s attention and Amanda goes off on how it should be their family under the microscope and not Kyle’s.

They are told that all is good and she leaves. However it seems the CPS lady is NOT a good person, late that night she is talking to a small circle of professionals and tells them that Kyle is very attached to the family and will be an issue. She understands why he is the one and the show ends.
