The 2009 TV Land Award that is only given out once a year has been passed on to Don Rickles for being an “outrageous comic.” The award show was hosted by Neil Patrick Harris from How I met Your Mother and it will go live on April 26th, the 
taping of the show will be April 19th.
Don Rickles is in great company, shows such as Married with Children, M*A*S*H, Home Improvement, Knots Landing and many others.
“I feel honored that TV Land has finally woken up and decided to make me this year’s recipient of the Legend Award,” says Don Rickles. “Throughout my career, I have loved entertaining people and to be recognized for my achievements is truly extraordinary.”
“Don Rickles is a national treasure whose comedy transcends generations,” states Jones. “He is a true pioneer who has won the hearts of millions across the world with his quick wit and sarcasm. TV Land is thrilled to present him with this year’s Legend Award.”
Curious on who Don is? Don is the voice of Mr.Potato Head from Toy Story 1 and 2. His first appearances, before Toy Story was in comedy clubs and of course “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” in the 60s. Since then he was seen in The Dean Martin Show, appeared in The Beverly Hillbillies, Dick Van Dyke Show, Murphy Brown and many others.

Real Housewives of New York City 1-/9C Bravo: Yes, the one Housewives that have one getting a divorce. Tonight you’ll see as Jill fights with Ramona’s husband. Ooops we all know how some of these can get. How many of you have hated the way your friend’s husband or wife treated them or did something? In other New York City Wives news Luann’s maid must clean up after even more pets, Kelly gets in trouble for her mouth. Big surprise there.
Without a Trace is on at 10/9C on CBS find out just who is missing and watch a steamy scene between Martin and Kim. I love this show.

James Franco, actor of “Freaks and Geeks” has issued a casting call down in Suffolk, Virginia for a new movie he is directing. There is a certain type of person he’s looking for though, the character must be backwoodsy. Hmmm, any Grissly Adams looking guys out there? How about the really long beards and plaid outfit with overalls look?
No details will be released on the possible upcoming movie except he does need a lot of kids and extras in their early 40s to play parents. Hmmm, makes one wonder right?

It seems that our Countess Luann de Lesseps from The Real Housewives of New York City is leaving her husband. I’m not meaning she cheating on him either, but really leaving with papers and all. I guess you can say reality tv really can break up a
marriage. Hopefully that is not what really happened.
According to the Star, she heard through the grapevine that her hubby, The Count, had been cheating on her. She decided to check and called but he never answered her when she phoned him. Eeek, that’s never a good sign. That or he was pissed she’d believe the rumors and call him on it on national TV. He did later email her and tell her he was with someone else. Poor girl.
He finally sent her an e-mail saying he was with an Ethiopian woman in Geneva and he was serious with her.”
I guess it didn’t matter that the couple have two children and that he was married. Hope this other woman feels good about herself.
The friend added, “Luann was blindsided. She was just devastated. They have basically lived apart for many years — he lives in Europe and comes and goes as he pleases, but she never thought this would happen.”
A rep for Luann said, “It is obviously a very difficult time for the Countess and Count, but they plan to remain friends and their primary focus will be to do what is best for their two children.”
Okay, so I can see how it might happen when they have lived apart for so long. Ya know the whole “cats away the mice will play” type of thing. But now she can start over and give her and those kids the life they deserve.

Disney has its own channel on Youtube and for those loyal watchers it can become a very long day watching all their favorite episodes online. But Disney is now 
wanting to make shorter videos for their tv unit on YoutTube. This could be good news for viewers and parents of the younger generation.
Until this year I didn’t even know children would go to the library just to watch tv shows online. It happens though, while I was blogging for money at our local library because my computer was broke a kid next to me was logging in to watch Hannah Montana. I couldn’t help but laugh but understand now, either she has no tv at home or just wants to keep updated with all the shows.I know some parents have their children go to the library after school and wait there until they can be picked up, the internet would be a great source for limited TV watching. I love it!

The TV Guide has come out with this years top 35 Sexiest Stars, I’ll list 10 here today and want your opinion if yours made it or didn’t make it.

What shows were at least two of these Sexy stars from? Eliza and David both began on Buffy the Vampire series and went on from there. Could this show have been what got them where they are today? I always though David was a hottie and Eliza had that bad girl going for her.
Each of these stars made it to the Red Carpet Fashion awards and of course they all looked stunning. Eva wore a shimmery brown dress that went to her knees with long sleeves and her hair parted down the center and left to flow. She looked flawless. Not listed above but still making the list, Eva La Rue wore a green knitted halter dress that really looked great on her and showed off her body.

What’s on television on this Thursday night?
Tonight on Ugly Betty Betty will be getting a makeover from Amanda and Marc and Wilhelmina and Daniel are still having to spice things up at the magazine before Daniel tries taking it over. This will be the last episode until May 7th, to read more about Ugly Betty head on over to Watching Ugly Betty for all the latest gossip.
Last week’s episode was full of questions and drama, course when isn’t Ugly Betty full of drama. Will Daniel be able to get Molly into the treatment? Wilhelmina and Daniel must figure out how to keep the company afloat. She is even selling her personal items, but the issue will be what all is she willing to give up. Betty meets Matt’s mom, who mistakes her for help. Later she’ll tell Matt that he must come in and say goodbye to his friend. He actually admits that Betty is his girlfriend, a smile spreads across Betty’s face.

We’ve all heard of the Real Housewives of Orange County or even of New York, but now the gals from New Jersey are getting in on this action. Five women from New Jersey are stepping up to the cameras and letting their entire lives be shown in front of the world. How do their families feel about it? Come on, you know that really doesn’t matter to these ladies, not as long as they get their shot at fame.
Here’s the ladies:
- Teresa Guidice: Housewife and mother to three girls.
- Danielle Staub: Single mother to two girls and was one of the first to receive a Black American Express Card. I’m still trying to figure out what it is she does, but she does have celebrity contacts.
- Jacqueline Laurita: She’s a SAHM of two children, her teen daughter from a previous marriage and her 6 year old son with current husband Chris. Chris owns an apparel business and is also the brother of Caroline and Dina.
- Caroline Manzo: Wife and mother to three, she’s also owns her own real estate firm and her husband owns a catering facility.
- Dina Manzo: (Yep, sisters) She’s a mother to a teen daughter and an interior designer. No mention of what her husband does, she is also an event-planner.
In the first episode, we watch as Danielle (single mother of two girls) prepares to go on a blind date with a man she’s only had phone sex with. She met him online and still only knows him by his handle. Umm, first I’d get the first and last name and leave it with your girls just in case he’s a crazy lunatic. But that’s just me. I do love her house though, for being a single mother she must make some outrageous money.

What do you plan on watching on your TV tonight? For some of you it is VOTE night at American Idol. But if you plan on calling in your vote, due be careful to call the correct number. Apparently one of the numbers, for the 13th contestant can get you to a phone sex company. Who will the next Top 12, err 11 be? I hear Adam will be the winner in the end, but that’s just a rumor. By the way this is on at 8/7C on Fox. By the way this will be a two hour special so start popping that popcorn.
The Real Housewives of New York City will be on at 10 pm on Bravo and I hear this is going to be a good one. Rumor has it Kelly will beat up her boyfriend. Should be interesting right?

The View will be doing its show at Walt Disney Studios down at Disney Legends for the upcoming week March 9-13. We’ll get to see Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Barbara Walters, Joy Behar and of course Sherri Sherpherd and they’ll be just like any other day just at a fun and exciting studio.
Big Lots is actually sponsoring them while they are there so this should really give them some exposure. But something tells me we’ll be watching more for the stars and not the ads.

Paul Harvey has passed away, but he lived a great life and died at the age of 90. There’s no official word on what was the cause of death, but it sounds like age. He was surrounded by family and friends and died at home. For those that aren’t sure or did not know Paul was well known for hosting his own radio show.
This was a man that had it all, a 27 bedroom home in River Forest, he drove to work every day by LIMO and flew by lear jet. Wow, what a life to have lived. To read more about his life head over to USA Today, they have a really nice biography on his life.

For all those Brothers & Sisters fans out there who’s been watching? I know it’s been getting pretty intense but when isn’t this show to be honest. I mean with everything going on you just knew someone was going to have to die. Ever season has to have their huge dramatic endings to get you to keep coming back.
So the guess is it’ll be one of the guys, but which one? There’s Scotty, Saul, Tommy, Robert and of course Joe. Tommy seems like the best bet with all the rumors that his real-life marriage is in trouble. By writing him off he can exit the show and possibly save his marriage if this is really the case.
Scotty could kill himself for not making partner, but something tells me that won’t be the case. Maybe he’ll get a job somewhere else. Robert could die, especially since he and his wife will finally be adopting that baby. I can see that one and many would stick around just to see how she functions after losing her man and raising her child.

Woo hoo, I actually thought Army Wives was done for but it seems there was enough women (maybe men) that liked the show enough that they decided to go ahead and try for a fourth season.
Some facts:
- Army Wives comes on Sundays at 10PM
- Season 2 was the most watched with 80Million viewers (of course it was, they had to find out who lived and died)
- a show that follows close to how military families actually act like and deal with
With all that being stated the actors are the show is what really brings everyone back to watch. Catherine Bell, Wendy Davis, Sally Pressman, Kim Delaney, Drew Fuller, Terry Serpico, Brian McNamara, Sterling K. Brown and of course Katelyn Pippy.
Here’s another tid bit for all you “Army Wives” fans. You can get the new DVD collection of Season 2 on June 2nd, they will release a 5-disc set. Did you know Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment is who actually makes it? Yep, here I thought it was just lifetime. Way to go Disney!
