  • Desperate Housewives are Going to Bootcamp

    by

I’m in no way saying whether or not the ladies on Desperate Housewives can do it, in fact I think at least one of them can but to place all . The drill sergeant alone is funny but watching Gabby try to do crunches was even funnier. Course Gabby can’t take the whole military thing and tries to tell the drill sgt that he is doing too much on them. He gets in her face though and yells at her to do it until she drops back down to do it. Man this looks like one I won’t want to miss. How many of you will make sure you see it?

    Melissa George Leaves Grey’s Anatomy

    by

    56470609451press1142009122507PM

Many are upset that Melissa George will be leaving Grey’s Anatomy, but she’s coming out to say it was her choice and decision to go.  I’m guessing many thought this wasn’t her decision and were writing to the show in order for her to come out and state this. For those that don’t know Melissa played Sadie.

    Here’s what she told People:

“I’ve made some beautiful friends. I love T.R. Knight. I love Patrick Dempsey, Justin Chambers … I adore Ellen Pompeo. I think she’s a strong, incredible woman. And Katherine Heigl is the most beautiful creature on Earth.”

"It won’t be a big send off, but it’s really cool what they do.”

You can read more about this at Grey’s Anatomy and find out more info on the cast and show. Now I’m curious how she’ll leave.

Blake Lively at Golden Globe Awards

    by

    16466097451press1142009113648AM

Here’s a few of Blake Lively in her blue number, some believe it was too tight but it looks like it was made to fit right on her body. A few of these shots make it looks like she would never be able to walk in that number but at least no seams seem to be popping undone. I think it looks great for her age, many people forget that she’s younger.

    Golden Globes Blunder: Winner Listed

    by

    56470545451press1142009111645AM

Oops you can say this was a big let down for Golden Globe nominee, Anne Hathaway. On the Golden Globes 2009 site they accidentally listed Anne Hathaway as a winner before the awards were given out. What’s worse was Anne didn’t win, it was Kate Winslet that got the award. Oops, maybe next time Anne. But she sure looked gorgeous.

    This Week on David Letterman

    by

    david-letterman

I know there are a lot of Late-Night viewers out there that probably LOVE the David Letterman show, so I’m going to try something new and post who will be guest starring on the show during the week. This way you’ll know when you’ll want to tune in and when you can fall asleep.

clinteastwood Wednesday, January 14th- Tonight will be the Randy Rogers Band, for those that don’t know this is a Country musician. The other guest star will be Clint Eastwood for Gran Torino.

For Clint this has been one marvelous month, his newest movie "Gran Torino" hit $29M and it is only in its 5th week at the theaters. Guess he won’t be having to clean out any gutters anytime soon. More amazing is that it has now passed some other very popular movies like Marley & Me, Unborn and Bride Wars. Now lets see if it’ll beat them in total. So of course I’m sure he’ll be talking about his movie success. While Bruce may have beat him at the Globes, he’s walking away with a ton of money and a really awesome car, even if it was just a movie prop.

Thursday-  Kyra Sedgwick from Closer and Book author, Gwen Ifill for "The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama. Things should get interesting here.

Friday- Zach Braff from Scrubs and Arj Barker (comedian) I think its for promotion of The Airborne Toxic Event CD.

    Golden Globes at 451press

    by

Just so I know you won’t miss a beat, I wanted to link you to all those that are talking about the Golden Globes here at 451press. This way you get the scoop from the fans of the shows and actor/actresses and you’ll feel like you are up on the gossip and the goods.

Watching House has pictures of the outfits worn by the members of the cast and of course fashion tips from the ladies. There’s even pics of the main course and I must say it did look interesting. My favorite would be the winners and losers in the outfits the members picked out for the awards. Eeeek.

Everyone of course is mentioning the winners by category and Watching New Celebs is doing it too, course this one is a bit about all those new ones that you’ll be wanting to watch for the next few years. But in case you missed those Critics Choice award winners here is the post with pictures.

Any Pitt/Jolie fans out there? If there are then you’ll want to read all about them over at Angelina Jolie Watch, there’s posts about the incident that happened at the Golden Globes in 2006, then pics of them at the Golden Globes 2009 and a bit of info on how long they stayed at the after party. Course I’m still wondering if they left early because Brad was called an Ugly dog by one of the drunk party goers.

Watching Heroes has some videos of the event and even shows Hayden Panettiere presenting the awards. Course I’d rather see more pics of her and Milo together.

Reality TV will walk you through the Golden Globe time and talk about the blunders that happened and those that you just wish happened but didn’t. I don’t see anything about Miley Cyrus stating her husband was there and I’m not meaning Justin, but Leonardo DiCaprio.

Finally there are pictures of Melina Kanakaredes at the Golden Globe style lounge picking up her goodies. Man it would be so nice to get invited to the lounge and pick up some of that stuff, I hear there is a lot of fun things in there.

    Golden Globe Winners (TV)

    by

Oh now here was my favorite, course once again it wasn’t any of my favorites. But I am glad to see 30 Rock pick up an award, but shocked The Office didn’t get it. Course I’m a Law drama type of viewer so I would’ve liked to see Closer or L&O pick up a few instead of just the honor of being listed. What were your picks?

Did you catch the award show? Have any favorite moments or want to see some pictures of a certain person? Let me know and I’ll see if I can’t scrounge them up for ya.

How I Met Your Mother Adds Money

    by

    how_i_met_your_mother_1

The show "How I Met Your Mother" has become so popular that even while others are falling at the side of the station this one just keeps on trucking. So much in fact that they went from paying their cast $120,000 an episode, this is up from $90,000 that they were being paid.

I guess having all those celebrities on has helped the show, not to mention it is just something that you are constantly wanting to know what happens with who. But due to them making so much money they’ve decided to add another year to the seven year contracts. So gear up this is going to be a show that is on for a while.
