Reba and Jack say Goodbye

by Eliza Ferree

reba.jpgReba is greeted by Barbara Jean’s kid who shows her just what he’d do if she were a stranger. She ends up with two huge shiners on her legs. Reba is then surprised by the good doctor, who plants a giant one on her until her son walks in the room and screams. “My EYES! Reba admits to her daughter that she feels like a high school girl. Cheyenne tells her mom she’s glad she found someone that makes her smile and not to let him go.

Van of course is a bit obsessed with the good doctors looks. But when the doc says he is legally still married Reba gets upset and says she’s dating a married man and realizes she is just like Barbara Jean. This is a huge blow to her because she can not stand her. All she repeats is, “I’m Barbara Jean, I’m Barbara Jean. He quickly apologizes and says he’s taking care of it right now.

“Jeez Mom, stop talking to yourself you are sounding like Barbara Jean. Hehe.

Sheryl Morgan shows up at Reba’s door to introduce herself, stating she is his wife. Reba corrects stating, “Ex but Sheryl replies “Wife. Barbara and Reba just stand their gawking at the door. Sheryl explains that she wants to give her marriage a go and asks Reba to stop seeing Jack. She agrees and after Sheryl leaves she tells B.Jean that she can’t break up a marriage. Jean says she should go after him but slips and talks too much stating that she was Brock’s one chance for happiness.

Reba decides to go tell him goodbye and as soon as she leaves Barbara Jean says, “Reba and a married man, and you think you know someone. Reba stops off at Brock’s and asks to talk about his affair, he must’ve felt so weird. He makes the comment at least Barbara Jean wasn’t there and quickly understands that she was. “Would it have made a difference if I was willing to fight for you?

Jack shows up at Reba’s and she asks if he still loves her and he says, I’m sure now but she realizes that he became sure after they met. Reba tells him she had it happen to her and she can’t do it to someone else. He tells her he doesn’t want to lose her but she says when you are single call me.
