Reba becomes a Landlord
Barbara-Jean comes over to ask Reba to buy their house so they won’t need to leave. Reba talks with Van and the two decide that they can buy it and have Barbara-Jean and her ex rent the house. Within the first day though their new tenants have a broken dishwasher that Van needs to fix. Brock comes over with a bag full of coins for their security deposit. Van lets being a landlord go to his head though and Cheyenne starts getting upset with the way he is treating her dad.
Barbara-Jean and Brock show up at Reba’s house to show her that Barabara-Jean’s sprained leg. She actually hands Reba a subpoena and leaves. Eeek, I’d be so upset because they asked her to help and this is the way they treat her.
Reba shows up at the office ready for her meeting with the lawyers, Van runs in with a folder of incriminating information on Barbara-Jean, not to mention pictures. Reba’s disgusted and Van is hamming up the being a detective bit. When the lawyer and Barbara-Jean walk in they talk about their issues and Reba explains the only reason she bought the place is to give them security so they wouldn’t be homeless.
How would you have felt if you were Reba? I mean here she was helping out her ex husband and his wife and child and then getting sent to court because Barbara-Jean hurt herself but because Reba now owns the house she should pay? I think she was such a great sport about it all and even Brock understand, course he wouldn’t tell Barbara-Jean to hush it.
