Samantha Who?
Samantha Who is one of the new shows they’ve got coming out this fall (October 15, 9:30/8:30c) and the first one airs tonight. Will you be watching it? Here is the run down on what has or is going on.
Samantha Who plays on the question we all wonder at times, “What would happen if we woke up one morning and didn’t remember who we were?” Samantha Newly, played by Christina Applegate, has been in a car wreck and wakes up with amnesia and has no clue about anything or anyone. That’s right, not even her lovingly annoying family. Course that won’t stop the family from trying to MAKE her remember everything, but she quickly begins to learn that maybe she doesn’t want to be who she was before as that was a terrible person. Will she try to change the person she once was or will she feel obligated to be who everyone wants her to be?
What were some of Samantha’s flaws?
- She loved to drink, some thought maybe a bit too much. (alcoholic?)
- Treated everyone bad, especially her assistant
- had an affair with a married man
- workaholic
The videos look very funny and I think it mostly comes from Christina’s personal touches and facial expressions. I’ll definitely be tuning in tonight just to see what it’s all about. The only problem I forsee with this show is it comes right between some really strong reality shows for others.
