“The Montel Williams Show” Ends
Montel has graced many homes across America in the past 17 years, but it has just been announced that he will be replaced by a younger version of him. However, channels that use his show during their hour will be able to use a 52 week reruns of all Montel Williams’ shows from his best episodes. But after this current season there will be no new shows.
“After spending the last 17 years as a talk show host and 22 years prior in the military, I’m looking forward to the opportunities the next 17 years bring,” Williams, 51, said in a statement.
I guess he isn’t terribly upset about leaving the show, however I’m sure just like getting out of the military it’ll be strange to go about a different routine. I do hope the best for him and that he keeps on smiling.
“I can’t say thank you enough to those who’ve welcomed me into their homes for the past 17 years,” Williams said. “It has been both an honor and a joy.”
