The New Smallville

Smallville Season 7

Did any of you catch Smallville last night? If you did then you got to meet the new “SuperGirl.” What’s your take on her? Is she a friend of Clark’s or his enemy? I’m not quite sure yet, I mean she doesn’t want to harm anyone by the sounds of it and she even saved the world. Yes, this could just be a ploy to distract “Smallville” but until we see more of her we won’t know.

That’s right if you’ve been watching you’ll know about a mysterious figure that came from the steel trap laying in the field in Smallville. This person ends up being a “SuperGirl” and boy is she HOT. If Kara wasn’t Clark’s cousin I’d say they’d be a fun pair watch hook up, but she is and that would just be wrong. Kara is in search for a little boy she last knew as Kal-El, which as many of you know is …. Clark. Imagine her surprise as she learns she was in that tiny ship for over 18 years and that she no longer has a planet to go back to.

SuperGirl

Lex has been released from prison and discovers that Lana was never dead and tracks her down. When he finds her she’s in China and hears him enter, she has a gun pointed at his chest. Instead of doing anything to her he apologizes to her, tells her she is smarter than he ever gave her credit for and if she ever wants to come back he won’t harm her. Honestly I knew he loved her but it was more of a love I thought developed because Clark did, but now you can see there was more.

Lois is tracking down the space ship and wants to write a story on it. Of course Chloe is trying to keep Smallville’s secret and explains how no one would believe it and it is just her imagination. Imagine their suprise when “The Daily Planet” hires Lois and tells her she will sit directly across from Chloe. OUCH! I can only imagine how that would feel. Is this a hint to Chloe to put some juice back into her writing?

At the end of the show you see Lana come back to Smallville, I can only guess the storyline there.

Will you be tuning in next week? Let me know and then come back and talk about the show.
