The Weekender

by Eliza Ferree

Okay I decided that my, “What’s on This Weekend?” neded an actual name…..so it’ll be “The Weekender.” Hey, if you have something better feel free to voice it in the comments. There are a lot of shows coming out this fall that I want to watch, now which ones I’ll stick with are another story. Have you found any favorites?

Friday:

Ghost Whisperer

Ghost Whisperer (CBS @ 8 p.m.)- Last week we watched as had to deal with a “Bloddy Mary,” but this week Melinda will deal with the war in “Haunted Hero.” (sounds to me a bit like an episode from Medium)

Numb3rs (CBS @ 10 p.m.)- It all deals with numbers and while it seems like a total accident when a car crashes into a coffee shop, the numbers just don’t add up.

Women’s Murder Club (ABC @ 9 p.m.)- It’s a new series but looks good, it’ll be one I tune in tonight. With actress Angie Harmon, from L&O, pairing up with Paula Newsome, Aubrey Dollar and Laura Harris should add some enjoyment to the show. Tonight they will have their very first case which is crime and passion.

Brothers & Sisters- Last week they left off with the mom freaking out when her son comes home wounded from Iraq. I’m hoping this week she’ll let up a little and let the guy live a bit.

Gossip Girls- Very much like OC, only it is in New York and deals with a lot of blogging. Gotta love the internet decade.

Life is Wild

Life is Wild 8 p.m.- I caught this one last week and will definitely be tuning in this Sunday. Imagine being uprooted after you mother dies to a country you’ve never been in. Course this is a country where your mother grew up and you can feel her everywhere, but danger still lurks behind every corner.

Kids Weekender:
(Disney)
Twitches 8 p.m. - Perfect for Halloween, it’s Tia & Tamiara and they’ve just discovered that they have an identical twin. Course this means that they’ve been seperated at birth for 21 years. Can the two come together to save a world that was once their own?

Hannah Montana
Suite Life of Zack & Cody
Return to HalloweenTown 9 p.m.

(Cartoon)
Goosebumps 8 p.m.- Make sure you catch it because October is the ONLY month it’ll be on. Hopefully if enough viewers watch it’ll become a routine thing.

Movies on TV:

Mrs. Doubtfire (ABC) 7 p.m.
Ghost 8 p.m.
The Sixth Sense
Field of Dreams

Rentals:
Surf’s Up - Hubby and kids said it was a funny one, but a bit too much like Happy Feet.
Evan Almighty- One I want to see.
28 weeks Later- No clue. Do you know what this one is about?
