Weekend DVD Rentals
Every Tuesday and Friday I usually rent DVDs for the week, Tuesday I pick whatever new has popped into the DVDplay machine down the street at our local gas station. But due to the move I haven’t watched too many new movies. That has ended, my hubby rented quite a few for me in the last week which I will also review on this blog. Out here the DVDPlay machine is called the RedBox and it is inside our McDonald’s….talk about wanting something to eat when ya get a movie.
Currently watching:
Suburban Girl with Sarah Michelle-Gellar- Sarah plays Brett, who’s an ambitious girl trying to become the editor-in-chief. Course in order to do this she has to impress her boss, who’s just been replaced by a younger looking model that doesn’t even wear underwear. Can she do it? In the meantime she’s moving in with the hottest guy in town, Archie Knox, played by Alex Baldwin.
Also Rented:
Family Guy the Blue Harvest- This is the sixth season of Family Guy, so to any of those fans out there head on out to your Red Box and rent some dvds. This is a fun one with them all acting out of Star Wars, I know my son has been begging to watch this one. Yes, my kids do watch it, I find that they are very much like a typical american family.
BeoWulf & Grendel- (this is not the one with Angelina Jolie in it) - I have no clue what this one is as it was mainly my husband’s movie.
Past Week:
White Noise 2- Unlike the first White Noise where there were monsters in every tv set, this one is a bit calm. The main character loses his wife and son when a man comes into a diner and kills them. A few months later he almost dies but is brought back, but not before he sees the white light. Now he can hear the voices from the other side and they are asking him for help, not just that though, he also sees those that are about to die. Quickly he tries helping them but only messes things up further. I won’t tell ya anymore of the movie as I’d love for you to watch it and comment back.
Hatchet- This is definitely not for the weak stomache, there was a lot of blood and gore all throughout the movie. My honest opinion was it was more of a b rated movie, but it will definitely scare some. It felt like one of those movies with Paris Hilton screaming that the murderer was coming.
