Porkchop falls on top of the vet, Noah, and he screams out in pain when Chris is deciding to leave and Danny is trying to convince her to stay. Chris tells Noah that they need to help him and he’s suppose to be off his feet for 6 weeks. He explains that he needs an assistant. Danny decides that that’ll be Chris and Chris agrees that it’ll be just until tomorrow. In the meantime Chris is actually doing vet duties, listening to the heartbeat of a horse, when Pablo walks in. After her talk with him she is ready to go as she doesn’t want to be in a place where she is not wanting, especially those that she hurt. Whether she admits it or not she still loves that family and never wants to hurt them in any way ever again.

Jr. is getting married and his fiance’ made sure that it was put in the newspaper and call them a “SuperCouple.” His fiance is the Congressman’s daughter. As Jr is walking his girl back to the car he runs into an old high school classmate, he can’t remember him but the guy will never forget. Apparently he stole the man’s girlfriend at prom. OUCH. Later Jr shows up at the guys house and learns he’s a scientist and has built an awesome wind turbuline system that turn electric devices on just by blowing into it. The guy needs $25,000 to make this become bigger but he doesn’t have the money, however Jr might know someone that does. Jr. tries telling his dad about it and he says no that they won’t even look at it.

Jr. tells the guy that he can’t sponsor him, he’s upset and tries telling Jr that the two of them can go back and talk with his dad. He apologizes to Calvin and says it won’t happen, that there is no way of changing his father’s mind. Calvin is left in the room staring at his device.

Meanwhile Wildfire is being brought back at RainTree and no one seems very happy about it, not even Matt. RainTree has basically became a camp for younger kids and you can see that it is wearing a bit on Matt. Something is wrong with Wildfire and Noah needs to be called but Chris shows up with him. Matt’s mom, Jean, is upset over Chris even being at the farm. Matt asks what about his needs or Wildfire’s, he tries saying Chris belongs with them. He then tells her that he was the one that asked Chris to come back.

Matt and Pablo are talking about RainTree not getting any better, he tells him whenever Chris is near Wildfire perks up. On the other side of the ranch Jean is headed to see Wildfire and sees him walking in his pen, so excited she jumps out and runs over. Spotting Chris she stands still and Chris tells her they need her and she’s not walking away from Wildfire, if she had Wildfire would just be a memory now and he’s not. Jean walks away stating there are blankets in the barn. Woo hoo!

Danny tells Chris that she wishes she wouldn’t go, the two sit down and have a heart-to-heart. Chris tells Danny she is her friend and both tell each other they’ll miss the other. Chris is leaving at 8 a.m. the next day, Danny decides to take her out. The two of them end up at their favorite bar and listen to the music play as they drink the night away. Chris gets up to order drinks and sits at the bar while she waits, Jr sees her and asks her why she’s leaving. He tells her that he knows she doesn’t want to leave and then sees that she is spending her last night with Danny. He gets a look on his face and Chris knows somethings up. “I’m sick of existing under my dad’s thumb.”

Chris tells him she’s searching for a home, a place where people love her. He says he’s seaching for that too, she ends it by saying good luck with his search. She doesn’t even know yet that he’s engaged. Eeek, I can picture when she hears about that.

Danny and Noel are back at the ranch and the two talk about Chris leaving. He is already trying to do his job and she’s all over him trying to persuade him not too.

Back at his house, his fiance asks him what is going on and he explains. She totally agrees with his dad and tells him to investigate first and if he really wants it she wants it too. In the end kids are walking around taking pictures of Wildfire, even Matt and Jean take pictures. Danny answers the phone and says yes they are the company that saved Wildfire. She’s making appointments but Noel shouts he can’t do anymore until she hires him an assistant. She storms back screaming she’ll hire the next person that applies and sees Chris. Wildfire is going nuts when he sees Chris back at the ranch and not coming towards him. Everyone notices this except for Chris, that is until Wildfire jumps the fence and dashes at her. She is surprised and drops her bag she’s caring for the vet. Matt runs to get Wildfire but everyone sees he is only trying to say hi and make sure she plays with him. Jean and Pablo are both in shock, as is the vet. Matt has a cocky grin that says, see I told ya.
