Wildfire Update
Oops looks like I forgot to update ya last week as well as this week, sorry about that, but not to worry I didnt’ miss either episode. First a clip for this season and I’m sure you’ll love it. When isn’t Chris having to decide what is right and wrong? Oh and of course she gets in trouble.
Read for updates.
Last week:
Matthew has decided that he wants something more than just living on the ranch and working under his mom, especially when she’s giving up on racing. Racing is in his blood and he’s just not ready to give that up. He struggles as he is taking campers on trail rides and not allowed to let the horses run, but he ends up leaving everyone in the field when he spots an old friend. Chris of course and the two of them race and race and she tells him that she’s finally found Flame. Flame for those of you that may not remember was Wildfire’s baby that they ended up having to sell because they went bankrupt after Chris’ troubles.
When they get to the ranch that holds Flame they are disgusted, there is old hay in the stables, no one has cleaned them and all the horses are horribly skinny. (she did go before hand with Junior) They try buying just Flame but the man says he’s in a divorce and doesn’t want any so if they want Flame they have to buy all the horses. Frustrated they had back home. Chris and Junior tell Danny and her vet all about the conditions, the vet takes a drive out there and makes up some phony disease and tells the farmer he’ll be in trouble if he doesn’t get help soon. When the four head out there they see the barn is on fire. Immediately they jump to action, they try as they might to free all the horses but the one they can’t find is Flame. (of course) Junior sees that the barn is falling down all around them and scoops Kris out of the barn and to safety, of course she fights him but later thanks him for saving her life. When the two realize that Flame isn’t in there they look at the barn in terror, realizing he is still inside. That’s when Danny realizes Matthew is still inside, suddenly we see an explosion out the side of the barn…it’s Matt and Flame. The following morning you see Matt pull his horse wagon into Raintree and unload the horses.
This week:
Junior asks if Kris will go on a picnic with him and he surprises her with a paper, actually its a wedding invite. Eeek! Oh and to top it off his fiance actually agreed, but being the typical girl she says to go for it, thinking he won’t or thinking Kris won’t accept. But Kris doesn’t except, he’s a bit disappointed and tells his fiance who admits she didn’t want her there. Course later Kris decides she wants to be his friend and in order to do that she must support him. This came from a conversation with Dani. Ooops.
The fiance later admits to Kris, without knowing she’s going now, that she was happy to hear she wasn’t. She then tells her how things changed since the fire and Junior has been acting strange. Ummm, yeah he’s in love with Kris. Kris goes straight to Junior to tell him he needs to focus only on his fiance and no one else. Course fiance catches them hugging. Ugh!
He runs after her and later tells Kris she’s right, but he can’t ditch a HUGE meeting with sponsors. Kris says she’ll take care of it, but he needs to focus on his new girl. The meeting goes horrible at first but not staying away Junior and his girl show up to rescue the nerd and meeting. He gives a lovely speech and the lights go on using the little wind tunnel they created. After Kris is talking with Junior about it and seeing he’s excited she tells him he should tell his fiance how much he loves it. Later he tells her he’s giving it up. aKK.
The best part of all is later when Junior plants a big ole’ kiss on Kris, who’s actually trying to say she wants to be friends. Uhoh I hear trouble at the alter. Who’ll be watching next week?
